The dust has settled and the last ballots are counted. I'm honored to be a newly-elected city council member for Post Falls. I will join my fellow newly-elected councilors Skip Hissong and Linda Wilhelm in January 2008. Thank you again!
I encourage you to register to vote if you've not already done so, to vote as if your quality of life depended on it, and vow to put the public back into the public comment portion of every city council meeting.

I Love Where I Live
My husband Bert and I have lived in Post Falls since 1985. At that time the population was less than 5,000 and there was a single stop light in town--at Spokane Street and Seltice Way. We've seen the community change and grow. Some of those changes are an improvement and some make us long for the way things were. But through the years there have been citizens willing to serve on committees and councils to help shape the future that today has become. It's my desire to be one of the people who make a difference for the Post Falls of next year and the years to come.
