City Council Q & A
In the eight weeks before the election this is a place for you to share which issues you feel are most important. This is an exciting time for Post Falls as well as a pivotal time. Serving on the newly-expanded City Council will be an opportunity to represent the growing population of our city. Public safety, roads and the overall infrastructure to sustain future growth are key. Decisions we make today will have a lasting impact. The council members you elect on November 6 will represent you, the citizen. I will answer your questions here on this forum so ask away. Kerri, it's great to see a candidate who has been so vested in service to the community. I can't think of anyone who has been a stronger advocate for Post Falls, and for as long as I can remember. You have my vote!
I thought you were the newspaper publisher in Post Falls? Then you were the Post Falls Chamber manager and you are on some other Post Falls commissions. Didn't you run for Mayor? Are you having a Post Falls love affair you just can't manage to leave? LOL you should be in an elected position, since you probably know more of the history, workings and people than those sitting in office right now! At least you've probably got a much more realistic rolodex of who really knows what's going on in town. Best of luck to you. In my book.. it's vote for those who've paid their dues.
Post Falls is a great city that needs excellent leadership. You have always been involved in our city and have displayed leadership qualities that are needed more than ever. Let your personality and wisdom shine during your campaign, then while you are our next city councilwoman. Good luck!
Mrs. Thoreson, we have followed your years of giving back in this community and will be proud to have you representing the citizens as a city councilman. Thank you for stepping up.
